Selfish behaviour for rare loot.

Does anything happen if we report this? I was in a farm party yesterday for thordan ex. The pf leader got their bird and instantly disbanded.. leaving everyone frustrated. It was possibly the most undignified thing I have ever seen happen with the community is this game. I've been subbed for over 450 days and never seen that happen until last night. I'm surprised SE makes this so exploitable, tbh. It shouldn't be that way.

Bad behavior yes, exploit no, you all rolled on it and he won. This is the risk of running PF farm groups, you either need to expect something like this can happen or make a group with friends/fc.

I'm not sure how it is considered "exploitable" and I don't know what you mean by "it shouldn't be that way". How else should the loot system be that would completely remove the possibility of someone just being a complete jerk.

It was definitely a pretty crappy way for someone to behave, but there isn't much that can be done about it. Blacklist and move on. If the farm party was good, then reform it with the same members and grab a replacement for the other guy.

Of course I blacklisted the person. What I mean is SE should have rules for PF like mentor chat where it warns you "undignified and bad behaviour is a punishable act" Not really an exploit... more like the person exploited us and told us it was a farm party but in reality it was just for that person. It is just rude and totally uncalled for. Blacklist and move on is what I have done but the behaviour was still shocking.

I've seem GM tickets for ninja looting pay off, so... Take that for what you will, and file a ticket if you wish to keep it fresh in your mind. Otherwise, just find comfort in this person not joining your parties or you joining his from now on.

Theres nothing exploitable here. If everyone was allowed to roll, and said person won, congrats to them. Nothing was 'stolen', they just exhibited unwatned behavior. Send a GM ticket if you want, but in reality, they didn't do anything wrong, so good luck.

It depends on the wording of the PF post. If it said it was a farming party until everyone got a drop then it is definitely something the GMs would deal with. Normally it's best to discuss what happens with the loot either before joining or in the Party chat, whichever. If something is agreed, for example that the leader won't drop if they roll successfully first time, then it becomes binding. Always get it in writing, like the lawyers say. =P

I do not think the devs care one iota about people "choosing" to leave a group. It is the person's game and choice. If they start dictating if a person stays in group to assist others, they will have a mass exodus or no one will do it at all and pugs will cease to exist.

The FCs on my server are not known for helping their people if they already have the item so you will have to suck up the bad behavior dealing with a pug and either look for another game (I am), or do something else. It is unfortunate.

PUG= Pretty Untrust worthy group. Roll of the dice sort of thing he said Farm he farmed and left. Was there ever a point where he said until we all get something? It sucks I know but...move on. It is a game. You really have so much time in your day to report and follow up and stay pissed off at a complete strange'rs behavior?
