Being in Multiple FCs

So I tried to see if there was already a thread about this, but I didn't find one.

What I wish is that we had a system where we could be in multiple FCs. Not infinite, but maybe up to say 3 FCs. I can see where housing could make this an issue, but alts make housing an issue anyway. Currently I'm in a situation where I am in an FC that is mostly dead except for me, but we have a mansion and a good history and I'd hate to abandon it in case they come back when real life has calmed down. I play with another FC's members a lot, and I'd love to also join them, but I don't want to give up what I already have. We could have a system like GW2 where our points and our FC chats would go to whichever FC we were representing at the time, so that wouldn't be an issue.

Being an unofficial member of their FC has worked for me so far, but it still feels a little lonely holding on to my dead group.
