New Weeknight Static Looking For OT and DPS

We are no longer looking for OT!

Hello! We are looking for a NIN or DRG DPS to join our static. We are brand new, though many of us have quite a bit of raid experience.

Our current roster includes:

Tanks: PLD and DRK
Healers: Both healers are versatile
DPS: MNK, BRD, SMN

A few important notes about this static that should be thought about before applying:

1. Check your ego at the door - If you join this static, there is an understanding that you have a job to do, and you need to do it well, because 7 other people are counting on you. You need to be able to take criticism and actively work on bettering yourself as a player. However, sometimes even with all that practice, some folks are just not cut out for savage. If after many attempts on the same phase of a fight, I see that you are consistently making the same mistakes, I will have to let you go. Know how to do mechanics, please. Damage output is important, but learning how to not die to avoidable mechanics is even more so.

2. Do not be afraid to speak up - We are all here to help each other reach our goals...after all, we have the same one! If you feel you have a better strategy for something, please don't hesitate to share.

3. Punctuality - We do not condone multiple unannounced tardies. I understand sometimes life gets in the way, but in this day and age where everyone has a smartphone or some sort of access to the Internet, you have no excuse for being late without notifying us in advance. If you are stuck in traffic or had something quick to deal with, let us know. Even a 10 minute warning before the raid starts is very helpful.

4. Time flexibility - We only raid 2 nights a week, so missing just one night will impede on our progression by a lot. Therefore, if a member cannot make it to one of official raid nights for whatever reason (and this WILL happen--we likely have other social obligations sometimes!), we should be able to adapt. For example, if there is a week where someone has an event on a Tuesday, we should be able to be flexible and do Wednesday/Thursday (or Thurs/Mon, or Thurs/Fri, etc) for that week.

5. Voice chat - Discord is a requirement. You need to be able to hear us CLEARLY. No exceptions.

6. Google calendar - You will need to provide a gmail address so you can sync up to our static calendar. There will be no excuses for you to not know if a raid date has been changed.

7. Don't be an asshole - And I mean inside AND outside of the static. You represent us, so if you have a bad reputation, I don't want you.
