im actually lvl 50 as a BLM does that have something to do?

There is no incentive to queue for L50 PvP content. Sometimes L50 Frontlines will pop because players are doing their daily Frontline Roulette, but the vast majority of the time you'll be sitting in queues approaching ∞ if you queue the L50 options.

To reiterate what others have said, go to Level 60 first. The queue times will be much better than what you're experiencing at L50.
