suspicious login

I am playing ff 14 for 3 years now, Always letted visa pay in advance.
I recently bought a new computer and when i wanted to login on my "main" account, i got the message that my account is temportly shutdown.
I tried to change my password but it seems i forgot my email adress from that account.
I can give SE all my account info including: name, adress, the visa nr where i do pay with, the servers where ive transferred to, a copy from my password etc.
Do you think i can regain access witht his info or not?

Contact support, they generally just need your address.
I'd suggest getting a security token so such things won't happen.

even with a security token it can still happen. Found that out the hard way 24 hours ago.

How good are the security tokens? I read a while ago that people had issues with the tokens not working and locking them out of account.
I've been meaning to get one, but was a bit wary.

My wife uses a physical one that's a good eight years old or so and it still works fine.
I use a digital one on my phone, never had an issue.

The only way you'd be locked out is if it got stolen or you removed the app, AND you didn't note your removal password down.
As long as you have the removal password or physical barcode jotted down somewhere it's impossible to be locked out.

I have an ancient one from my WoW days that works great. Wasn't sure if SQE was using something different.
Will definitely get them for my wife and me.

Ive had one simce release no issue what so ever.

Square enix responded at me.
I needed to send them a proof of identity and give them a new email adress so they will change it.
I got my account back !
