This would be a wonderful idea! I also wouldn't be opposed to just making more of the world's various bookshelves readable. For example, the Arrzaneth Ossuary (Thaumaturge Guild) has loads of books, and Thubyrgeim has been standing in front of that shelf in the Arcanist Guild for ages; whatever she's reading must be good!
