Aww sad to see you will leave Mysidia, but just so you know they are revamping classes in 1.20, with mages forget what you have already seen because it is looking alot like mages will be changed alot because when jobs are implemented in 1.21 CON will have the White mage job (healing) and THM will have the Black mage job (blowing stuffs up)

That is only an assumption til they actually release the new class actions, for all we know Conjurer may still be able to cast elemental magic and they may revamp what a Blackmage is in XIV. Since jobs aren't even coming out til 1.21 it would be quite surprising if the actually dynamics of both classes changed. Hopefully though we'll know by tomorrow or Friday so one who wishes to level a mage class will be able to level the one they want if they actually change them in a dynamic way.

Explain what can they do to change BLM that will not go against what it does in every FF game to date? BLM nukes WHM heals end of story, it has been that way since FF1 and should never change. It is easier to change CON and THM because they arent part of FF.
