Mogstation refuses to accept prepaid credit cards?

I've have been trying to buy last years Halloween stuff since they've come out in the Mogstation. It gives me the stupid error 401 or whatever every time. I have waited longer then 24 hours to try the purchase again but it never goes though. It wont even let me buy crysta.


Yet if I were to go charge RP in league it would process instantly without issue. Why is it that FF14 hates prepaid credit cards so much? I'm trying to give you guys money but you wont take it. At this rate there is going to be a lot more games getting my cash seeing how the only option I have is to use prepaid credit cards.


You guys really need to fix some stuff to allow us to use prepaid cards, it's still cash and you're still getting money. Some of us just can't get actual credit cards.

I've used a prepaid credit card before, it was a birthday gift and I used the last of it on mog station items.

Yes, I've used them before as well. It just seems to be giving me constant issues lately. I've registered it online so I'd love to know why it keeps getting error 401 every time I try and purchase the Halloween stuff.




I've got a 25$ credit card and can't even buy the items. So angry lol.

Found out the reason why. The mogstation for some stupid reason always tries to add the credit card for future use. You can't do that with most prepaid cards so the payment fails. Squeenix needs to remove that from purchases period. If you're buying a single item from the mogstation there should be ZERO need to try and hold onto the credit card info.


Really need you guys to fix this cause it's a mess and you're losing out on bucket loads of money cause of this horrid idea.

Really? O_o It's never tried to save the info for me...I'm going to check that out right now.

Edit: No, it doesn't give me an option to save the card for future use. And never has as far as I recall - that would make it super convenient as I'm a semi frequent buyer. Are you sure it's not an issue with your browser?
