lol they do hate it.
Pretty funny stuff on that page

Now I want to know what the Chinese and Japanese players think of the "Glamour is the true endgame" thing. Or in other words, th eimpotance of character appearances over gameplay.Just like English forum ,sometimes some Chinese FFXI players post in the forum & said how FUN, how memorable FFXI was,
they even said they just want to play a "HD version of FFXI", people saw their post & very interested
& SDO promised to their player: FFXIV will be unique, no more cash shop stuff(most Chinese players don't like cash shop too)
But as you can see, now the game is just another Korean mmo/WOW clone, with a deluxe cash shop.
Many Chinese players joined the game, disappointed, and leave

You do realize that wings is so big that "almost" makes people from behind can't see the front compared with dreadwyrm right? Its hillarious how much people just hate it because of the wings. I mean its not like they would be "real" wings.
Its just as the dreadwyrm-gear wings, calm down people. Its not even something new.
Its not like you will seeing people fly around and mistake the game for aion.
I'd like to see that outfit and the barding in the game. Especially the barding.
Without the wings the outfit would just look like any other boring piece of cloth ^^

Wings scream cheap korean mmo crap.

Well I'm pretty sure if they bring it over to the west, I'm going to buy it and a lot of other people will buy it too

Last time I checked, the player wasn't an immortal (well, okay, that part isn't too far off xD), godly being that changes reality around itsself just by thinking about it, so no, just because a Primal has beautiful wings does not mean we should have them too.
I have yet to see anyone unequipping their Chinese Dress, it's still about 80% of all players you encounter on my server wearing it.
Bennu wasn't even terribly popular in the first place with only a handful of them around at all.
