Hate grinding for tomes forever? Too much vertical,short life gear progression? Boring gear stats?
DF with random people everyday & feeling lonely? you want to make some new friends & leave a good memory in game?
You want to try something new, but you are afraid that the game will change too much that you may not like?
Here are my some thoughts:
1.Remove DF UI but add a LDF(local duty finder) board in Adventures' Guild in each main city. so you can play with other players in you server. while you go to & wait in the Adventure's Guild, you may meet some new friends! not just clicking a boring DF menu like now....
2.Other server players can join your LDF party too, just add a "cross server" option in it, so you won't wait for 1hour for a party.
3.While in dungeon, players from same server will have a light blue color name tag, other server player will have a deep blue name tag,
4.Cross server friend list, and you can add player to you friend list while in dungeon.
5.If you go in with a full local server party, dungeons will drop better rewards:dyeable gear, gears with better stats or special effects(horizontal progression)
6.Dungeons will have more content if you go in with a full local server party, just like Tam-Tare Deepcroft in 2.0 alpha:there were three final bosses in it & they give different rewards
7.There will be some random events, server events, time limited events, HNM hunting missions, large scale open world raid(Odin?) or instance raid(16-24man or more) etc in LDF board that you could join, & it gives special rewards or Scripture tomes.
just like Wondrous Tails & Duty Roulette Expert, but in a far more fun & natural way.
8.Add FC missions/duties,add job quest that require a party, FC chat channel is so quiet now,isn't it? lets make it lively again
9.(optional) add some strong monsters, treasure chests while you & your party are going to the destination.
10.Extreme primal boss use less "jump rope" mechanics, so you & your party spend less time to learn it & you won't feel frustrated if someone failed, but those instance require "keystones" to enter, you & you party will spend some time on collecting keystone, like king moggle mog in FFXIV1.2x, there were some very fun monster on the road, & you have more chance to play with your friends, it's memorable
11.change patch cycle from 3months to 4.5months, so the content will have better quality, more carefully designed, & your gears live longer
