    Not sure if serious...you don't make a high profile NM like that where you require different linkshells to get a kill(and endgame linkshells always had bad blood with each other 80% of the time), no one was narrow minded, AV dropped the best gear in game for a long while. This would cause huge problems, and ridiculous amount of drama over drop priorities which is definitely not pointless. As for throwing SAMs & DRKs at it, that was clearly the most effective way everyone could think of after trying many different methods, come on now lets be real here. To sum that up, as about everything else about XI, AV was another terrible design/direction choice.

    People not getting along = Community problem. SE can't hold our hands and make us play nice. AV wasn't the only concept Design SE had that asked/demanded people to work together. Besieged and Campaign followed the same concept. Doing only one strategy even though there are many others that work its exactly what narrow mind is.

    Lol how do you quote me & miss those key words you even bolded, "after trying many different methods". And comparing besieged & campaign to endgame is downright ridiculous. Those two were just fun things to do on the side and took very minimal effort to effectively get things accomplished, completely different than endgame where everyone's greedy as shit, if this wasn't a fact 90% of the LSs wouldn't have resorted to botting HNMs. This is not new, this isnt some kind of breakthrough, this is how all games usually go down when it comes down to it for end game, greed. Though most games now a days have evolved from the primitive & boring camping for good gear.

    That will never change, and SE could have easily balanced it out to where it was killable with just your own LS being that it was large enough. And the fact that it took ages to get a legit kill, and needing ridiculous manpower and then there's the whole loot issue, is indeed a design problem, if this weren't the case they would have made another NM similar to this effect but they saw their mistakes. Anyway, this is way off topic so I'll leave it at that, have a good day.
