It would be TP, since, as you said, using a healer's MP would be...unoptimal. Same reason why DRKs use MP, not HP.

It's supposed to be like a reverse-BRD, so you could use a TP-refresh to prolong the duration. The effects would have to be weaker, obviously, but at least on a micromanaging level it would be a bit easier to manage.

Dancer seems like it would be an evasion tank if it managed to land the tank spot, which would be very RNG-based. Given how disliked the RNG aspects of MCN and AST were (on launch, at least), that...seems like a bad idea.
