    Triple Triad Help

Can someone PLEASE help me understand Triple Triad?

I must be really dumb because unless i get really lucky or I have someone telling me what to put, and where I can't win.

I've won a few stronger cards Like Bahamut and Godbert from the King III guy, but I only won those by watching tutorials online about how to do so.

I've played maybe 50-60 games so far and have only won 10 or so games. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong it seems like no matter what cards I have, like Bahamut with the 9's the NPC's still win.

I understand the rules, the fact I need a higher number, same number, or the same sum, ect

I just don't get the strategy and gameplay. I can't wrap my head around understanding where I need to put what card and why.

So is there some sort of strategy guide/Triple Triad for morons, or am I just a lost cause? I suck at video games in general and can't win any other GS game for the life of me so far TT seems like the only way I'll even earn points.

    Thanks.

Ive never read any real strategy guide on it, but the basics are pretty easy. Protect your vulnerable sides while attacking those of your opponent. Pay attention to the rules in play, as they can drastically shift things. And in general, i personally seem to win more when i play offense, and draw more when i play defense. What i did when i was starting out was play all the weak NPCs i could to get my deck started. Generally, the more it costs to play an NPC the better they are. So you can use that as a guidepost to see what to expect. In general, each card has at least 1 weak side(5 or lower), so what i did was seek out cards with 6s or 7s facing each direction to build my first deck - replacing things as i got better versions. The more cards you collect, you get achievements that let you put stronger cards into your decks(up to a deck of 4 three star cards and 1 open), making it easier to tackle those harder NPCs. You can also build different decks to use with different rule sets. For instance, there are plenty of low-star beastman cards allowing for an easy ascension deck. And low level cards often have multiple weak sides, letting you build a superior reverse deck early on. Look for NPCs with those rules, or watch the regional rules that can change daily and use these to your advantage to beat harder NPCs before you would otherwise be able. Otherwise, you could always just get really good at baiting your opponents into making bad plays, and beat them without upgrading your deck at all.

How many cards do you have OP?

Also it isn't ALWAYS a good idea to hide your vulnerable sides

An example let's say you got a bunch of good cards but one REALLY weak card. Let's say 5's in top and right. But 2's in left and bottom. I'll often purposely expose both 2's so when the other NPC bites the bait of taking that card they might expose a side. And you can easily reclaim it back.

    Just keep that in mind
