Dragon Quest 10!!

This is an MMO, quite alike FF11, FF14 but vastly different, I once heard it shared some of the same staff as well and it's really cute and has loads of content. In Japan: FF14 and DQ10 alternate their patches so they never release at the same time...in fact players are encouraged to sub to both and then switch between them whenever there is a lull in content.

Well recently a campaign to Localize this game began and it's garnished quite a huge following in such a short time (over 5k.) Western SE staff are compiling tickets and suggestions offered by us to try and persuade their Japanese Colleagues that its worth the money to localize, so here I ask you as a friend.

They almost always sell out of whatever they do decide to bring here.

It's a nice thing to give this campaign better advertisement. Let's just hope you won't get in trouble from posting in here, since it has nothing to do with FFXIV

^ I honestly think I will get in trouble. In my defence, we did have a Dragon Quest crossover, and Dragon Quest 10 did have a FF14 crossover as well. Why not further emphasize the partnership of the two titles?

I would love to see DQ X localised but fear it may be too late now. I also don't think it would survive as a pay to play game in the west.

Well, since FFXIV ARR works, there's no reason DraQue X, released earlier, shouldn't have.

And it's too late only when you give up. The game is to be released on PS4 and NX in the future, it would be a great time to welcome a whole batch of new players.

While not an MMO, i'd rather see news of XI making it oversea.

Perhaps if they ever attempt another DQ MMO then yeah would be nice to have it here.


EDIT: Didn't know its planned to release to PS4. Hmmm...well who knows, would be nice.

Yup its coming to PS4 and NX, a subscription model gives a constant flow of cash for updates.

There are a lot of nay sayers when talking about this game, and the fact of the matter is, Soma the campaign head is actually in direct contact with SE, which is definitely unique, and localizing X provides the Dragon Quest series to have a constant communication with us the players: After all, here at FF14 we are always suggesting and critiquing, and content is adapated to what we want. (Remember the China dress a lot of people requested, or quality of life stuff, and spectator mode and so on)

I'd say it's far too late to hope to get it in the west. While not an MMO, i'd rather see news of XI making it oversea.

Myself and other campaigners take great offence to this.

People keep saying I'd rather have "a" than "b."
Why don't you just help your fellow Dragon Quest fans out and want both? What happens if your nay saying and depressive attitudes "its never gonna come" "it wont be profitable" in relation to DQX are then thought by SE the same for XI...so we get NEITHER.

To put it blunty. Dragon Quest X is the current campaign and its the campaign which SE is looking at, I've never ever seen them comment to almost everything regarding a localization before. DQX is the gateway to everything else. The only reason why SE is able to fund most of their projects is due to the constant influx of cash earned from their subscription based MMO's. DQX can help fund more Dragon Quest...for us. I honestly don't know how people cannot see that.

Dragon Quest X is an extremely modern game with 3.4 coming out, introducing jobs such as Dancer and Fortuneteller, and Underwater Areas.

The art style is beautiful, the music is emotional and the combat is extremely Dragon Quest xD

I'll give my support to this, i mean DQ is an amazing serie so why the hell not~
