Besides - most of the innovations folks're enjoying with their consoles? - They're created by Nintendo, so I'm pretty sure that with the patents they're sitting on, Nintendo isn't going anywhere anytime soon (^-^)
How will it rival with the XB1 and PS4 when they're getting an upgraded version? People spent money on the standard models, they will spend money again to get the best version and in no way the Switch will rival those, we don't even know if it will rival the standard models.

Yoshi will only consider porting the game to the Switch IF the Switch sells enough, not because half a dozen people hyped by something they don't know nothing about want it, and let's be honest they want it because "on the go FFXIV".

The WiiU was released a ton of years after the PS3 with pretty much the same specs but it came way too late, the 3DS only sold well because it has exclusive Pokemon, Marios, Bravely Default and some JP cute games the JP people love, and mainly because there was no competitor and the Vita was a failure.

People were hyped for the Vita, it failed, the Switch will most likely fail too because of outdated specs, if it was released 3 years ago like the XB1 and PS4 it would be another story, now that the Scorpio and Pro are coming i don't see why people should spend money on the Switch with 4k capable consoles coming.

Remember how popular Pokemon GO was? It's dead now. Just a hint.
