I love my switch but I don't think FFXiV would be a good fit for it. Perhaps the FFXI mobile version would be better for it. There hasn't been any news on it for a while though

TBH in regards to an FF title aside from single player remasters of older games or direct ports, the next FF series game I can see going to the switch at launch would either be a new entry into the Crystal Chronicles series, a new FF Tactics game, or a sequel to FF Explorers. Or maybe revive the Chocobo's Dungeon series because those were quite enjoyable.

Ask and ye shall receive. They announced a new Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon for the Switch back in February.TBH in regards to an FF title aside from single player remasters of older games or direct ports, the next FF series game I can see going to the switch at launch would either be a new entry into the Crystal Chronicles series, a new FF Tactics game, or a sequel to FF Explorers. PSO2 also had a lot less characters on screen.

Switch is not weaker than PS3, what are people basing that on?

Probably feelings is my guess... but I want right to someone to confirm if Nintendo Switch is WAY more powerful than a PS3 and if it is possible for the Nintendo Switch to have more powerful version the console to where it puts Sony's PS4 Pro to shame...
Or at the very least someone from the dev team to announce something FF14 related for the Nintendo Switch, aside from the stock "there are no plans at this time" answer...

no.... this shared consol thing needs 2 end between pc, and the main system for game should stay but... ffs should never go 2 xbox or switch

There is no main system for the game. It's available fully on PS4 and PC with very, very minor things unobtainable on a PS4 setting. Those are the main ways to play the game and the game was made in mind for both the PC and PS4 at the same time. You have a very poor and not well-thought out argument.
What doesn't work is the shoddy port they did for Mac's.
Why... would anyone think gaming on a Mac is a good idea? You literally have the 1 option of throwing out the entire computer and buying a new one if any 1 piece of hardware doesn't meet requirements. There is no main system for the game. To, of course, appease the people who'd complain they were discriminating against Mac even though any true Mac user knows the machines were built for work in mind, not play.
