It's not rocket science to notice the patterns and the marketing trends between certain companies, it's just takes general observation skills and common sense. I should know, I do marketing for companies all of the time.

As much as you see your side as being logical, I see mine as being logical too. Had Yoshi already said, instead of being still in the talks with Nintendo, that the hardware is not what they're looking for, after the 2 years of the Switch's specs being known, I would have left the idea behind, but seeing as he continued to show interest and that he wants it to be on as many platforms as possible, and that he is still interested in the Switch, I'm fine with it.
And I'm sorry that you don't always have things the way you want them to be in life and that you're not the center of the world.

I really hate the whole “lol Nintendo is just for casuals and kiddies” thing. I love Nintendo games the same way I love Disney, it’s something everyone can enjoy. I’m 34 and I love Wreck it Ralph, Up, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario.

Please no. I have a nintendo switch and the pure downgrade of what they had to do to port warframe to the game was insane. I dont wish that for ffxiv. Especially considering new consoles are coming out most likely after shadowbringers but before the next expansion after shadowbringers.

Plus I dont see nintendo changing their minds on the online subscription cost to play online games.

PS3 was already cut as it was limiting the game. Windows 32x is being cut as it is limiting the game.

LolSwitch Limitations. It will be cut as it would limit the game in terms of not just graphical fidelity, but also memory limitations as well as a host of other issues. While it is a neat console, it's not optimized for an MMO. Nintendo has historically been terrible to work with for online connectivity. They're only now with the Switch starting to get things right, and there's still a long way to go.

Actually, that comment would be more fitting for you since you keep rehashing the same, tired, old line that the Switch would be possible simply because Yoshi was in talks about doing it and running that as a 100% certainty when it's not while ignoring mostly what everyone else has been saying and that it just wouldn't technically be there as the main reasoning among other estimates.



You're not being logical, you're just being hopeful and wishful thinking because you want something that has been proven to not technically work, and you don't want to hear that from others. You're also using your opinion as an excuse to be extremely rude and condescending towards someone else that doesn't share the same opinion as you when I haven't done either of those things to you in response so far. Ironically, you left out the part of her last post where she was discussing the subject itself with 2 other members of the forum.
Not only that, but you're the one who initially attacked her and derailed the thread over hurt feelings because of her opinion (post# 385). So now because you have no further arguments, or are tired of arguing, she's the one derailing the subject?

The truth of the matter is, this is a forum for all players to enter and leave the conversations, she wasn't having the conversation in a private chat that I'm not supposed to join the conversation in the thread and everyone can enter or leave the discussion as they wish, so asking her for the reasons as to why she hates something like Mario easter eggs in the game and why she does not mind having Yokai Watch, does not mean that she should get over-sensitive and turn around with:

I simply sarcastically suggested that if she hates Nintendo easter eggs in FFXIV that much then what about Yokai Watch, which by the way, is also a very much Nintendo dedicated Pokemon-like franchise. But she had to turn around and claim that I get upset every time someone disagrees with a Switch port of the game when she does not even know me.

Sorry but sometimes things are not the way we want them to be so I had to remind her that, yet still she came back as if I am the one insisting on a Switch port when all that I did was show that I don't mind having it on the console. Not minding does not mean insisting. It can be seen from the explanations on my previous posts.

And by the way, you yourself have come into a conversation you were not part of, it was between 2 members of the forum, yet you had the liberty to. Do you understand how a forum works now?
