The OP may be incorrect on a few of the details but they have a valid point. Those polls we took just proved to Square what is deemed most desirable by us and is now going to keep everything we asked behind the key of the $. I will not be continuing onward until their slated 2.0 is released as this is what got SE the deserved intense backlash is has suffered by using our natures against us once again. I paid a lot of money for a beta and I still have to pay for a beta the way I look at it while all the input we divulged as players is being used against me to force me to pay again for these ideas which should have been there in the first place that are still in development. I think those that will pay need to remember the recent past and how we as players were shunted and deceived. Now all the things I had hoped for being a part of during this development is null as they only want the opinions of die hard fans who'll pay the sub for this crap.

The truth is 2.0 could very well be a flop. No one wants to talk about it but it would benefit square if we did. After all, square is going to have to convince a lot of new players to join if they want to keep this game going.

I think Square is learning that being niche does not work when aiming for a global market. Unfortunately many of the trolls in these forums have yet to catch on to that concept.

So ya it's a lot more complex then just changing the areas, if that was the case then they wouldn't have to go through the period in which they have to move the character data from this version of XIV into 2.0 lol.
