Because that would result in the shutting down of servers, and would cause several cases of people complaining to the company about purchasing a game they cannot play. They know for a fact that they would bring in enough revenue when they start charging to be able to keep the servers live, even when thinking about giving a discount. So all in all they are quite confident in what they are doing and how well 2.0 will do.
Not to mention, Yeah some stuff will be wiped off the grid, but the Strong holds/Primals fights Garland empire stuff will NOT be deleted just placed in a different spot >.>.

How many GMs do they have on staff? How many are maintaining the servers? not a drop in the bucket compared to the staff working on the new game, not even close. And trust me the localization team is spending much more of their time on the new world as opposed to the few hundred lines we get with each patch
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
omg.................. do you even have the capacity for reasoning (or reading, for that matter)? How many GMs do they have on staff? How many are maintaining the servers? not a drop in the bucket compared to a new game, not even close. And trust me the localization team is spending much more of their time on the new world as opposed to the few hundred lines we get with each patch
Sheesh if anyone is QQing right now its you >.>How many GMs do they have on staff? How many are maintaining the servers? not a drop in the bucket compared to a new game, not even close. Since you clearly have no idea what you're talking about:How many GMs do they have on staff? How many are maintaining the servers? not a drop in the bucket compared to the staff working on the new game, not even close. And trust me the localization team is spending much more of their time on the new world as opposed to the few hundred lines we get with each patch
How many players will pay for the sub fees? It's a drop in the bucket compared to the revenue they need to fund 2.0.How many GMs do they have on staff? How many are maintaining the servers? not a drop in the bucket compared to the staff working on the new game, not even close. And trust me the localization team is spending much more of their time on the new world as opposed to the few hundred lines we get with each patch
Yet it's enough to keep the servers online and services running. Saying it's a drop in the bucket doesn't matter because it's still money wasted for no reason. That's why these costs need to be covered one way or the other.

yea even Yoichi Wada already say to be having a discussion about the subscription to may have a discount or something.
But i really prefer if they can add more payment options.
if you enjoy the game at 1.20 sub ,otherwise don't
it is not like 2.0 depends on your charity
yoshi-p already said 2.0 is happening no matter what
