Thread: Version 2.0 - apparently the real miracle patch

You cant really treat 2.0 as just a patch. Its pretty much an entire remake of the game. The game will relaunch along with PS3 release. But if you have to treat as a patch... then I guess yea, you can call it a miracle patch.

But seriously OP, you say nothing promised is coming until 2.0 when in reality, it's the opposite. The AH/MW hybrid system comes in 1.20 along with class balancing, the job system comes in 1.21, and the list goes on.

Of course, you would know that if you actually read any part of the roadmap.

Do you really believe our subscriptions are going to be in a large enough number to fund a project like XIV 2.0? Absolutely not. It's only going to pay for everything Betel said.

I can't tell if you're trolling or legitimately an idiot.

They already said themselves that even if NOBODY (Zero) subscribe, they are still going ahead with 2.0. This means that they already have funds set and planned for to be used for 2.0.

This means that subscription fees are going towards server upkeep, GM crapola and the like. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
