We can't have stun because of whm identity. Maybe a random debuff between Paralyze, 20% Slow, 20% Heavy. 100% Chance to get a debuff paralyze would just be the jackpot. For the mp cost, i think no effect is fair.

I hardly think a Stun on a 70 damage potency AoE is going to threaten Whm when they are swinging a 200 potency one lol.
The reason I mentioned it was because in XIII and XIII-2 when a Ruinga went off...lighter things were knocked into the air a bit and staggered, and it definitely created a sense of oomph to the ability. I suppose adding a knockback would also add that effect, but it would be nice to get an AoE that's actually usable in a dungeon lol.
In theory other statuses could work. Slow would probably be a bad pick since shadowflare already slows, and miasma already heavies meaning those 2 are essentially worthless. Paralyze would be pretty sweet though.
Could also do something a bit different like a short soft stun that's broken when attacked, but the next attack made on the creature receives a damage buff.
I'm mostly just thinking of how to make a FFXIV Ruinga have the same impact as the FFXIII and FFXIII-2 one.
