Psvita support?

Would there ever be a possibility for Vita support? I know there is the cross platform play option with the ps4. But a secondary option for when people are on the go would be nice.

You'd have better luck, and a better play experience, to ask them for a way to stream the game from your PC/PS4 to your smart phone rather than the Vita. We've spent enough time with obsolete tech. Face it: American's didn't receive the Vita well (I purchased first generation), and it's only moderately popular in Japan.

i doubt that the ps vita can handle this game.

they remove the PS3 support with 4.0, there is no chance they will ever release it on the vita.

Jking lol. I would love them to pick back up on that since it was generally a simple concept and can actually be improvised to something more resourceful. Like an onscreen map (that was commercialized when announcing the Vita, don't try to find photos now), Perhaps an offscreen parser (I really don't care), maybe a strategy assistant with pens tools, symbols, and general map of the fights so other players can see and study it. They could do alot with it, but they just choose not to I guess. Not t mention a voice party program too. Lol, Vita limitations, can't say a thing for PSO2 that's still on Vita.

But streaming the game from the PS4 to the Vita already work. Remote-Play.
And Remote-Play configurations exist already in the FF XIV PS4 client.
But what the devs can do is an option for Remote-Play to use the front touch-pad instead of the back touch-pad.

Another nice idea would be a Libra Eorzea app for Vita.

You have Remote Play support both to Vita and PS TV. You should also have it to the Remote Play app both on smart phones and PC.

Better ask Sony if they can let us use Remote Play outside our own Wi-Fi, so we can stream it at other place such as friend's house, a bar with Wi-Fi or even 4G from our phones, even if the stream quality is low.

That would be cool enough, so you could do stuff like send retainers or whatever from PS Vita outside your house.

Mobile streaming apps are ok, but I find it hard to use.

Thought that was the main purpose of remote play tbh. Have your PS4 set into rest mode and other appropriate settings and voila, can turn it on/play away from home.

Also remote play is fine!
Is the dam vita don't have the L2 R2 triggers.!
Once Playstation build a vita with those triggers I'm slapping my money at them.
I have use it from NY to Miami an it works fine. ..but those triggers..
