Thread: Gearing priority for 3.4

Just a quick question to you all/looking for advice with what gear to prioritise!
I've just stepped into 3.4 so I'm not overly sure what to go with, considering Shire gear looks completely underwhelming.

So what should I get first? Is there a list or step by step plan? For reference my gear now is mostly Augmented Lore!

One last note, I don't get the opportunity to Savage raid so unfortunately that tier of gear is likely to stay out of reach for me.

Well just ensure you have been getting your weekly gear from A12, and have enough scripture to get the weapon when it's available.

Outside of that, the scripture Head is BiS. Chest piece isn't bad, considering you're not doing Savage.

Every other piece is awful (left side) but you will likely have to get them anyway for the STR/VIT and Defense boost anyway.

Pentamelding crafted gear is also viable.

Of course, once 3.5 comes out and upgrade items become available for the Shire Gear, they'll outshine crafted gear.

If you're not doing savage, probably one of the fastest way to gear up would be getting the shire head and chest, normal mode pants, boots, gloves and belt. In 3 weeks you should almost be in full i250-260 without spending for crafted gears at all.

From there you can either try doing savage, or slowly replacing the normal mode gears with shire gears since in the next patch you'll be able to upgrade the shire gears, most likely making them the best gears you have outside of savage.

I'd love to try my hand at savage and extreme trials but I'm never home enough to practice consistently or join a static. It leads to quite a lot of skill fade and I wouldn't feel right about imposing that on a skilled group.
