Hide. Paladin. Shield. Only.

What i use as workaround is just two gearsets for pld. One with and one without shield. When i am afk in town i use the one without shield then.

I remember hearing them say in the past that they wouldn't be adding an Emperor's New Shield item to the game because so many of PLD's animations rely on the shield. They did say they were open to having smaller shields though, like targes or something even smaller, so we'll just have to wait and see if they decide to implement them at some point.

I think he's asking for the option to hide sheathed weapons to apply to only the shield. Not for him to have an invisible shield.

I'd be in favor of this, but only because SE seems incapable of making shields that don't look like crap. I seriously can't find a shield that looks good.

If it only hides it when it's on your back sure, just don't ever introduce an 'emperor's new shield' glamour please. Paladin stance/shield lob/shield bash would look weird as hell without a shield.

Gotta be honest, I'd probably spam shield lob like that. X3 Long range pimp slap, go!

What are you looking for in terms of shield design?

Something along the shape of the Shire Shield or Holy Shield but with more simplistic design. A lot of the shields are shaped weird, or are too small and goofy looking with most armor sets. Maybe something with a design similar to the Baldur Shield with the shape of Shire or Holy Shield.

Honestly I'd like the Shire Shield a bit more if I could dye it, but you can't until its upgraded which isn't possible at the moment.

Maybe he's just so awesome he can punch away attacks.
