Wonderous Tails Variety

So we're entering week 4 of Wonderous Tails and I have an observation. This is also week 4 of having Labryinth of the Ancients in my Wonderous Tails. I hear stories of players seeing Syrcus Tower or World of Darkness, but RNG keeps giving me Labyrinth of the Ancients. PLEASE STOP RNG. I'd much rather see Syrcus Tower every week, LotA week after week is getting old.

Also: has anyone seen the Hildebrande trials come up in Wonderous Tails? That would be awesome to have pop in.

I've got even better one on variety. My week 2 book was duty for duty exactly the same as my week 1 book.

Though the rest seem to be varying.

My weeks 1 and 2 were the same. I think my weeks 3 and 4 are also the same. I picked up a little bit of variety. Just a little. I think we need more.

Pretty sure the only trials that show up in Wondrous Tails are the Ex-level trials (Ex primals and stuff like Urth's Fount and Ultima's Bane). Casual trials like the ones from Hildebrand will never make an appearance, as they get plenty of coverage already from Trial Roulette.

But we have Weeping City in Wonderous Tails. Do we really need the current 24p raid in there? Aren't there enough people queueing for it?

Hildebrande trials also depend on players having unlocked them. Even though they're a party of trial roulette, trying to queue into them can be excessively long at times.

The Hildibrand trials are also part of mentor roulette (well, EVERYTHING is part of that.) I've landed Battle on the Big Bridge/Big Keep that more than a few times in mentor roulette.

Back to OP, I agree - I've had frickin Good King Moogle Mog EX on every single Wondrous Tales book I've gotten. We did it once since a FC member needed a clear, but it really is the worst of the ex primal fights to do since it's almost harder unsynced.

I haven't done a 24 man for wondrous tails once without even using second chance points, if you don't like labyrinth then don't do it.

The Hildibrand trials are also part of mentor roulette (well, EVERYTHING is part of that.) I've landed Battle on the Big Bridge/Big Keep that more than a few times in mentor roulette.

Back to OP, I agree - I've had frickin Good King Moogle Mog EX on every single Wondrous Tales book I've gotten. We did it once since a FC member needed a clear, but it really is the worst of the ex primal fights to do since it's almost harder unsynced.

It's really not that bad, just don't DoT things and even if you kill a moogle early you should have more than enough dps to kill the king at the end.

The only really weird/difficult EX primals are ifrit and leviathan. Doing those unsynced makes me so scared.

Really? We put Ifrit Ex into the "faceroll" category these days. Just have only the tanks on Ifrit, and the DPS focus on the nails, until after the third set of nails. Everything else you can heal through if necessary.

Leviathan Ex is still an issue, but only because I get seasick on the boat. That is hurting me in Sophia too.

If DPS is high, you have to wait some time without attacking to allow him to go through his mechanics before throwing nails out. It's easy to accidentally push him with dots.

Fun facts: Try to have some tanks with over 30k and those tanks will survive memento moogle and the king will recast the 30sec enrage timer.. I did it this way duo sch-war..
