Chemist will never happen, sorry people.
Alchemist is a thing in the game already, and it happens to be a crafting class.

Am not stating that I want a witch class. Am just stating that the clue was a bit to obvious. And feel that we may have to think out of the box

As others have stated, he has been pretty blunt before with "clues".
Batman = Dark Knight. New job is Dark Knight.
I don't think the fact that it is too obvious makes in any less likely to be Red Mage.
One thing you need to realize is a witch would gender lock jobs, I doubt they want to confuse players by giving male characters a male name for the job.
Witch is not a gender specific term though. There are male and female witches and they are both referred to as witches. You may be under the impression warlock is the male equivalent term but it is not. Male witches are just that, witches.
Not according to Merriam-Webster or Oxford or Wikipedia.
I mean, you're wrong but okay.

On Wikipedia a search for Warlock directs to that very same Witch page, so according to wikipedia then warlocks are all female too.Originally Posted by Wikipedia

A male Witch is simply called a Witch, never a warlock and it is considered an insult to call a male Witch "Warlock". The word "Warlock" actually means "oath breaker".
There's disputes about warlock truly meaning oath breaker or older translations of it being more male specific as "binding man". So it may be more gendered than witch. But witch is absolutely not a gendered word.

A woman thought to have magic powers, especially evil ones, popularly depicted as wearing a black cloak and pointed hat and flying on a broomstick.
1.1A follower or practitioner of Wicca or of modern witchcraft.
2informal An ugly or unpleasant woman.
‘he can marry the old witch for all I care’
3A girl or woman who is bewitchingly attractive.
4An edible North Atlantic flatfish.
If not, any definition that takes Wicca into consideration is invalid.

I wont quote anyone, because then it might look like I am taking a side. But, for those arguing the terms Witch and Warlock, just remember to take into account our current time, as well as, how words have denotations and connotations. While in the past the denotation might of been the norm, we live in a society now where connotations are used more. So are Witch or Warlock gender exclusive, probably not, will they be taken that way, yes they will. Just look at the term gay, it means happy, but is it ever used for that anymore. But yet it's in The Flintstones theme song or holiday songs, "a gay ole time", because it only had its denotation at the time, not the more common connotation.
But, also, remember that Scarlet Witch's son is named Wiccan, so...?
