My first time through the manor, I seemed to get pumpkin'd every time I went through a doorway. I had no idea what to do and never saw a single active object until right at the very end of the third trial. I found a clue that someone else had already found. Carried by my team and still got 4 cookies.
I went back in, since I figured I might as well get the minion. Nothing else seemed worth the trouble. I actually found stuff and contributed to the completion, but I have no need or urge to repeat the experience unless an FC mate needs a hand.

tbh, I was disappointed not to see any succubi. They are what keep luring me back to Hauke Manor. There should be a dakimakura room furnishing collectible to help confirm everyone's suspicions about my character.

I could see why some people wouldn't like it due to the potential trolls, but I loved it. Completely different than the typical FATE grind I was expecting, and it's very fun to do with friends. Fortunately, those times I did have to pug it I never got any trolls. My groups always worked together and actually had a reason to talk to each other. I hope the rest of the seasonal events are just as unique!

Just wanted to pop in here and say I thought the dungeon was cute and fun. It's good to see them attempting something other than boring FATE grinds for once. I hope this proves to be a trend in future events.

Agree with a lot of people here. This was my favorite seasonal event from any MMO. I've been running it to stock up on the prisms but for fun too.

Edit: The event reminds me of another Halloween event from a game called Mabinogi. You and a party go in the haunted house and do randomized minigames to get through. I think XIV does it better though.

And what proof is there that it'll be cash shop only? What if it's a Gold Saucer reward?

And even if it is gonna be in the Gold Saucer they should've pointed it out that it wouldn't be in the event. What other way would we have thought we'd get the thing anyway? Floating Chair = All-Saints Wake, no one thought otherwise except for those who love buying things from the Mogstation (and those who hate it).

They did say that during the Live Letter when they showed the chair. They explicitly said that it's still in development. Plus, we already knew the rewards as the event page with all the rewards listed was online days before the Live Letter.

Loved it! Waited until I could go in with half of my static, and we had a blast on TS. I'd probably go back to help FC members if anyone asks, but not too tempted to brave DF.. Well ok, maybe on my alt. It was an awesome event!

I loved the instanced "dungeon". My only grip was they stated there were no class or level restriction to join it. Immediately I was, ya, I can run this as botanist.

Just wanted to pile on the love for this event, Best seasonal event I can remember since maybe the Xmas one where you had to deliver presents and find trees in the housing districts.

It was a neat idea. I liked that everyone can do the dungeon and that it requires a little bit of thinking and communicating.

However, I got all the rewards I wanted in less than an hour and don't see any reasons to run the dungeon anymore.
