Shorter elezen necks

I like my Elezen just the way he is and I don't want Elezens to change. Why alienating the players that like the race and play one? I don't make threads against Lalas demanding the devs to replace the atrocious horrible fugly race by the cute adorable huggable Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings Online.

Basically this!! I play an Elezen 90% of the time (who I love, but I'm also addicted to fantasia) and surely the whole POINT is that they don't look human. I don't want to play a tall Hyur with pointy ears, even though that's what most people seem to hope for.

As a female elezen the shoulders are perhaps a little wide, but I don't mind the neck or head size. I even like the way we run (not sure what the problem is with it... IMO female midlanders have the worst run.)

And yeah, back when I was playing The Lord of the Rings Online I had 6 alts, 3 Hobbits and 3 Elves, I found the Hobbits absolutely adorable. When I came here though I've found Lalas fugly and horrible so I don't play one. I also don't say that to those who play Lalas that I find all Lalas, except for the NPC Lala Krile, fugly because they love their characters and are attached to them.

Being an Elezen fan I almost agreed with you. I happen to like my Lalafell, and the Elezen race, just the way they are and I don't feel the need to insult other people's choice in race to make that point.

On topic, I've never had a problem with Elezen necks; been my second favorite race since 1.0 but I'm all for getting more customization options.

If they changed them to be more like the other races (which increasing their head size, homogenising their run animation and shortening their necks is ultimately doing, even if the ears and long body are still unique) then I'd switch to Au Ra or Roe; I specifically don't want to look more 'normal'. But I would rather stay Elezen, because big-headed, short-necked race options already exist for everyone else to choose. I'm sorry to hear that it means that Norleas can't play as an Elezen the way they currently are, but by the same token I wouldn't want to play as a female Miqo'te without some design changes. And I think that's ok, because both are options openly available to us in character creation.

(Female Elezen are beautiful the way they are too. It's ok to be less than perfectly proportioned by modern human standards, and I wouldn't want them to be changed.)

I really don't mind the neck, I think it's absolutely fine the way it is.

I only wish necklaces would sit properly at the bottom instead of floating awkwardly halfway up...

^^ This - they've been slender and elegant for alot longer then FFXI and would look extremely out of place if their key features are manipulated from what they are now.

No, Elezan are inhumanly proportioned because they aren't human.

It's fine to not like their odd proportions, but don't demand radical changes like that. This isn't like another tail type for Miqo'te!

As for the Photoshopped edit, that's more like a Viera verses Elezan to me.
