    Additionally, you'd have reduced freedom of secondary stat choice. Unless 4.0 rebalances the stats so Crit is no longer King for 92% of Jobs, it may take a hell of bonus to be worthwhile, unless all raid gear is automatically the best stat (while customization remains an accident of gear progression only).
