Soundtrack changes to housing zones, ARR zones and HW zones.
An Ishgard Grand Company so as I may server under Set Aymeric. And Ishgardian housing :3
Quality of Life Improvements I'd like to see:
*Add Venture and Beast Tribe tokens to the Currency Pane to free up Inventory Space.
*Add a Glamour System to store Item appearances when Spiritbond reaches 1%, to free up Inventory Space of old armor/weapons.
*Add a Pane which contains and tracks Crafting Reagents, to free up Inventory Space.
*Add Private Instanced Housing, a small parcel of land in the Player Character's Home Nation, where they can buy/upgrade small/medium/large housing and have an outdoor area for outdoor decorations, chocobo stables, and gardening.
*Add an Expanded Door-Room system to housing, as per this thread: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/298021-Request-Placeable-doors-to-expand-interior-housing-space.
- A return of guildhests, hunting logs, traits, and skill you get from leveling up.
- More skills that make me feel like a ninja (more ninjutsu, shurikens and some transformation)
- Gear with unique effects.
- More nonlinear dungeons with randomized objectives like the haunted manor.
- Ability glamour (a way to customize your character withouth messing with balance. Turn fire into void purple, switch thrown daggers into shuriken or playing cards...etc)
- Put all tokens to the currency tab
- A consumable tab for food and potions
- A Glamour Log
- An exclusive boss for savage raids(Imagine Alex creator having one more turn before Alex prime if, and only if, you do it on savage. This gives HC raiders a unique challange and a small change in the story while also making savage raids better for gear farming as each new turn gives more chance at gear and tomestones) (Never raided savage but I hope harcore raiders like my idea)
- A gear currency that is something new like Mhachi scroll of something, instead of Allagan tomestone of something.
- A butt slider that doesn't get overriden by every piece of gear.
- Since Yoshie-P promised to give story moments where our class is relevant, I want the game to warn me if those occur to make sure I can switch to a relevant class. Or just notice that while I am a ninja I have all healer classes unlocked.
- Beas Tribe quests or other forms of daily or weekly activity for fishers and culinarians.
- Group content for crafters and gatherers (imagine a dungeon where a magic pot asks for a potion to let you pass and you haev to craft it from ingredients inside the dungeon or locked/blocked doors that you need to break down with a miner or a botanist. Or a key that you need to fish our from a lake)
That would be so cool. Would love to use Voidal-looking flames as a Black Mage.
That would be a tremendous inventory saver. Fully support this to be sure.
- Put all tokens to the currency tab
Same for the already existing breasts. But yes, butt slider, please.
- A butt slider that doesn't get overriden by every piece of gear.
That would be nice. If Yoshi-P does follow through on this idea of having classes influence certain story bits more, it'd be agonizing if only your currently equipped class contributed to this. It makes sense, given how the Armory System works, and how it seems unlikely you'd see a class swap mid scene, or say a Black Mage using White Magic. As FFXIV isn't really the sort of game that people would want to repeat from the very beginning, and it's not a game where you can save-scum, you'd agonize over every potential moment where you could have done something unique, but didn't because you didn't have the right class equipped when you could have. So some sort of warning that "So and So Class/Job may be able to affect upcoming events" would be much appreciated.
- Since Yoshie-P promised to give story moments where our class is relevant, I want the game to warn me if those occur to make sure I can switch to a relevant class. Or just notice that while I am a ninja I have all healer classes unlocked.
That or just allow an interaction in a scene to class-swap to an appropriate class/job. Something like that.
For me
- Improved Wallet: Holds all tokens, rather than have tokens take up inventory space
- Wardrobe: Unlocked glamours that can be applied without saving the armor piece
- Dye Unlockables: Unlock dye colours, rather than using items
- Add-on support
- High-Res Textures
- Shorter GCD
- Improved NPC talking experience: Ability to talk to NPC on mounts, don't have camera move when talking to Quest NPC
- Improved Dungeon experience: Not hallways, mix up the 'formula', add some challenge
It's worth noting that finishing the 2.0 Dragoon quests changed how Estinien treats you in the 3.0 plot, whether you're currently a Dragoon or not. So I would expect any similar changes to work the same way.
Get rid of ilevel
Allow trade/private chat in dungeons
Allow us the opportunity to mail things to our other characters on the same account
No rails dungeons
Gear pieces that are not part of a set
Adding of support role for jobs that provide support ( healer, tank, dd, support)
Open world dungeons like we had in 1.0 and like XI
More Traits would be nice.
