You can multi-box from one computer. He probably used a laptop and a computer, linking them via a key-press add-on to be able to control each class. /probably/

If his computer is high-end he could probably have multi-boxed on one computer alone, maybe using two-four computer monitors. FFXIV, on a good comp, these days doesn't take much to run.
I've done so on private WoW servers, allowing me to control an entire team of five classes to solo dungeon and quest content alone.

He also mentions using 13 foot pedals. Not sure what those are XD. I assume they're like things you can macro to your... foot pedals lol
