agreed, i only use 18 hr when the level cap is increased, the rewards/returns are junk and a waste of venture tokens.

Using the highest level item you can select per hour is generally worth more exp.

Assuming you can play every hour, sure. 18hr ventures are generally worth about 4x the 60m ones, so if you play one six-hour block a day you can do one overnight and five hourlies (about 9x total), with the other hour used as wiggle room. You'd have to play nine hours a day to beat that. People with jobs generally don't have that option.
