Assuming you can play every hour, sure. 18hr ventures are generally worth about 4x the 60m ones, so if you play one six-hour block a day you can do one overnight and five hourlies (about 9x total), with the other hour used as wiggle room. You'd have to play nine hours a day to beat that. People with jobs generally don't have that option.

Yeah same. I don't think I have ever gotten something as lame as a block of butter since my low levels except on the 1 hour ventures.

In truth the main value I find in my retainers it gathering crafting mats so I don't have to grind monsters myself.
