I agree with the textures. It's awful we have to look at those heavy pixelated armours and ground/walls etc. The game looks ok only when you play with the camera very far from the chaarcter. For an MMORPG this new they should improve this. Shadows are bugged too they need fixing and this has already been reported though no response for that even thow the team had aknowledged the issue for months now. Movement is ok for me. It could be better yes but it's not terrible either. It is fine. Any improvements will be welcome though. Also the maps can be more detailed with more objects now. I mean more trees, rocks etc and ofc they can be bigger. If any graphical improvements will be made in 4.0 maybe they will tease them at next 2 Fan Fests.

I find it looks pretty awkward myself >.>

Not enough to be off-putting most of the time, but awkward nevertheless.

Increasing the textures may be doable, especially if they are dropping PS3 support. That was always one of the biggest limiting factors because the PS3 has a pitiful amount of memory and couldn't hold hi-res textures.

Everything else, though, would be "too much work" in terms of the effort/reward ratio. Time spent redoing all the graphics that were just redone a little over three years ago is time not spent developing new content.

I'd like to see them eventually support DX12, though. Maybe we can finally get real anti-aliasing.

Personally, when I'm in battle, I'm not looking at my character all that much. I'm looking at the boss, the floor, the walls, my status icons, the placement of my pet, the health bars of my party - pretty much anything BUT my character's action animations.
