Heading: The Scions of the Seventh Dawn
Section: Yda Hext
Yda is said to be a Highlander, though her ingame model is that of a Midlander. This may not be an error though and could be deliberate on the part of the devs.

I think they covered this at the last Fanfest. Yda is a Highlander, but in 1.0 there were no female Highlander player models, and rather than recreate her character model in 2.0 they just stuck with her original Midlander one.
Noticed that the lorebook has a different date for the attack on Ferndale than what's in-game from both the Legacy and Current versions of the game.

Before we begin, there is something I must needs confess. You will recall the tale of my battle with Nidhogg fifteen years past, how the power of the dragon left me on account of the injuries I sustained.Special thanks for Anonymoose for helping me double-check the text. Going by the in-game text, the correct date would be 1557, not 1562.Originally Posted by Fatal Seduction (3.50)

In the Encyclopaedia, the islands of Old Sharlayan are listed as follows:
However, this image from the map released earlier today labels the southern isle as Yorn, instead of Val.Originally Posted by Encyclopaedia Eorzea pg. 47

If Val isn't on the map then that means Yorn is being seen as to the South because the Isle of Val was leveled by the Ascians with a spell similar to Ultima sometime in A Realm Awoken or Through the Maelstrom.
The problem isn't the absence of the island, but the positions. If you'll notice, there is an eastern island (which would be Yorn by the Encyclopaedia's description) covered by a cloud. Instead, the southern island is Yorn, when it should be Val (covered by a cloud, represented by a whirlpool, destroyed or not).
Plus, I doubt that this map was drawn so recently that Val's destruction would be represented on it.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I thought I'd point it out so please correct me if I'm wrong:
In the Warring Triad section of the lore book, the timeline suggests that the Warring Triad were captured and THEN Bahamut was summoned. Yet if I remember correctly, Sophia's in-game lore says that she was captured on purpose AFTER Bahamut was summoned in an elaborate plan to release from his prison and wreak havoc. So, which one of these is the canon timeline?

The Demon Wall blurb refers to it as a forgekin, while the bestiary refers to it as a soulkin.

Is there any newer publication of the book with the mistakes fixed? Did they fixed any typos since the book released? I'm asking because I want to buy it.
