PotD gear stat restart problems

I do not know if this question has been asked before so I will try. I have completed PotD a number of times and have maxed my gear stats for turn in. I usually do this after completing level 50. At this point I will reset and start all over again. The first time I complete floor 10 and try to go to 11 I am told that my gear strength is not high enough and I have to reset my character and start floor 1 again. At this point I am ok.

Am I not doing something right or am I just unlucky with the number of silver chests I am getting? Or is this something the Devs need to look at?

I assume you did reset your gear back to 0 (or does it start at 1?). If so you may have to rerun 1-10 more than once. My first time I had to rerun 1-10 3-4 times due to back luck with the chests and wether or not it did upgrade the stuff. I'm not sure what the gear has to be to be able to proceed further, but if you can't then it means the gear doesn't meet the requirements.

Probably just very unlucky with silver chests. There's a certain level your gears need to be before you can start on the next 10 floors, and you're not meeting that requirement.

According to the message I receive the gear strength needs to be at level 8. Do people normally get to this level during their 1st 10 floors?

It's RNG. I had to run 3-4 times for my first time before I could enter 11-20.

But didn't they increase the chests or something with the latest update? If so it should be easier now than then.

Regardless of the minimum, you don't get the weapon unless you complete floor 50 boss with 30 weapon and 30 armor. Defeating Edda last boss gives one aether upgrade if you at 29/30 or 30/29.

That just means more messages that my gear didn't upgrade!
