inb4, while people are standing outside Oriens arguing over when to go full dungeon on it, in the background you just see Omega Weapon stomping forward, lasers firing, and tearing straight a hole straight through it.

I can actually see this happening. It might even be the possible cause of that giant hole torn through a mountain in one of the new regions.

That concept art is, without a doubt, Castrum Oriens though so there clearly is a plan for us to go there in some capacity. Getting a hard mode for Gubal in 3.4 has thrown the entire pattern for dungeons off the rails so it's entirely possible we'll get Oriens as a dungeon. It would be a great way to conclude the patch cycle IMO.
