Fanfest 2016 - Not worth the price

Is it just me or are other people regretting buying the live stream of Fanfest? There are many reasons why I say this. Let me ask the community....what exactly about the stream warranted it to cost $30.00 US?

Sure, we got the new trailer..oh, wait! Everyone else who can access YouTube got that as well - 10 minutes later.

We did get expansion information..oh, wait again! We were told the expansion was going to contain new jobs, new zones, a 10 level increase (um, isnt that information all obvious), tons of more inventory (Mentioned before on a live letter they were looking into that for 4.0). Seriously, we only not a small sliver of information and pictures. If you take all the new information released that we didnt already know, it wouldnt fill a "Live Letter" which are always free.

Ill admit the concerts were fun to watch, but because of the lack of security with the stream...I could have just waited 20 minutes and watched that for free as well on YouTube. Cont...

Maybe the biggest problem is that NA fanfest is the first fan festival and they only release the good information (pictures of zones, jobs, give concrete information on new features, show a lot of gameplay, new skills, show new raids and dungeons) at the last 2 fanfests. Its almost like they undervalue the NA community.

To top it all off, there is almost 0 replay functionality because of having to skip to the end of a segment to actually find what you want to watch.

In conclusion, I hope this thread gets some traction. I want the developers and anyone affiliated with SE to know that the community wants more. I, along with the rest of the community love this game. We love the story and most of the new content introduced. We just DONT WANT A FAN FEST that is basically a "LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING ALL THE ACTUAL NEW INFORMATION AT OTHER FAN FESTS"

Uh no? I actually enjoyed the stream. I thought the panels, the community interviews and showcases were all great. I even liked the PVP competition, and I rarely bother with PVP. I do agree that Cleeng is annoying, and I hope they don't use it again.

Also you can edit posts to bypass the character limit.

It was a scam in my opinion. Only worth it for people that actually went to Las Vegas. Stream should have been free.

Price gating information in the information age seems like an exercise in futility.
But at least you got some costumes and a minion out of it.

I did it for the outfit. The bonus for me personally was the stream which I enjoyed very much! Some people boohoo over the concept of paying for outfits, but hey. Whatever does or does not float your boat.

I wish the stream wasn't $30, but getting the stream was worth it, IMO. I didn't get to see all of it, but the parts I did want to see (or hear), I let play in the background while I ran PotD and Duty Finder Roulette. I felt like I was there with them, without actually being there, though, going there would've been pretty cool, too. Someday I might go to a convention like this. Loosely related, is it true that when you go to big conventions, you smell nothing but bad B.O.?

I didn't buy it I deemed it not worth $30 from the moment they announced the price of the stream.

I paid just over £30 for the stream, and had it running at home all weekend.

To be honest I bought it initially just for the ingame items. However the joy and laughs and fun I had watching it, and how excited I got right before certain segments - it worked out to two days worth of entertainment for me and my partner, and now we are hyped to try to go to the Eu fanfest.

In the end I got so much more out of it than I expected.

I'm sorry you didn't get much out of it - but for me £30 for 2 days entertainment was worth it.
