true, I quit bard as my secondary job because of the ridiculous cast time, if I am forced to have a cast time I might as well do some serious damage as blm lol

I REALLY hope they get rid of it in the expansion.

And my biggest fear is the same skin, different # / no open world content.

Exactly. Someone in a thread a while ago made a suggestion on how WM could've worked without suddenly altering the way the class plays in its last 4-5 levels of it. Pretty much, you get the damage bonus and a reduction of tp cost (since that's what the stance really does, is lowers how much tp you burn) when you stand still after a couple of seconds and lose it when you move. The main reason why brd was competitive dps in 2.0 was because it have almost 0 disconnects, which allowed it to maintain a steady stream of damage. Transforming it to a pure caster kills that. Heck, they could've even made it caster and just gave us the ability to move like WoW used to do with their hunters, which was why hunter was always the top 10 dps in raids (beast mastery at least).

I wholeheartedly agree. With the upcoming changes, I'm hoping for either the removal of or a complete reworking of WM. It felt like it was forced on Bard to make it play more like Machinist with GB, and it really never fit. Here is hoping that they take this opportunity to fix Bard.

My biggest fear is that they introduce Beastmaster or another pet class/job into XIV and try to make it play like XIV's Summoner. I have no specific issue against SMN outside of the egi design, but I hope the next pet job plays differently.

Biggest Fear: RDM will not be a DPS. Or RDM will be a DPS but I don't like its design.

Likely to happen but not afraid of: RDM will have too much utility/performance and be considered mandatory in raids/OP.

The battle system will still feel unrefined and not live up to a potential revamp that could be. I mean the actual feeling movement, weight and animations of attacks etc.
