Advice for managing TP for PLD?

My only advice to you in terms of regular content is lean on flash more, dont burn through your RoH combo.

Normally what I like to do whenever I start running low on TP in a Savage boss fight, is I'll put Goring Blade and Fracture up, go into shield oath then stand there and use Clemency on the party or flash with my remaining MP until i'm at about 500 ish, then go back to sword oath and keep beating on the boss

If you are in savage, you probably have a NIN, BRD or MCH in your party. Just ask them to put something up for TP. The only thing where i get TP issues is in A9S because its a fight without downtimes, but one goad and everything is fine.

Actually A9S isn't that bad for PLD TP if you're the MT, when Full Metal Faust spawns (Or whatever it's called) the boss takes MASSIVELY reduced damage, I just slow my rotations down to as slow as possible without dropping combos and just do Rage of Halone combos to keep the boss doing less damage. Usually manage to go from 400~TP starting the phase to nearly maxed. If you're OT? Well I'd argue on this fight if there's a PLD in the party they should be MTing, Sheltron and Bulwark are fantastic on this boss.

In that particular fight, save tp by not attack when Full Metal Faust is out.
Until Faust's body gets consumed, Refurbisher will have a massive vulnerability down.

For that bit the MT can attack Faust himself. Refurbisher doesn't cleave so there's less downtime for the PLD than you may think!

I've only run out of TP in A9N with DF grp. A9S is fine, even with switching to Faust and no NIN.

Do you use Shield Lob to pull? If so you can walk straight up to the boss and it wont trigger him. So thats a nice 120tp saver there.

Actually A9S isn't that bad for PLD TP if you're the MT...

After Refurbisher does Scrapline during FM Faust, he has no cleaves and no other AoE moves, so the MT should go help bringing Faust down, since hitting Refurbisher is a waste of time. As Ilan said, if you're doing Savage it's very likely that you'll have at least a BRD or MCH, so asking for Army's Paeon, for a Spire from AST, or for Goad from a NIN should free you of TP problems. Another point in favor of having the MT go beat up FM Faust is that your healers' AoE healing will most definitely reach you (super Whispering Dawn+Asylum can help both healers DPS Faust without worrying about the tanks too much).

I can usually get to about 20-30% before running out, try lowering your sks if possible. It's the only fight ive done where I run out of tp as a PLD though.

There are several DF groups in alex 9 and 10 where i run out of tp as PLD. But thats mostly because of their lack of dps.
