Which is why I'm advocating for it to be an option. And have it disabled by default if needed. That way people like you are able to read it at your own pace and handle an AFK or something, and people like me can have it go through in one smooth motion.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

YES. THIS is what I'm trying to say. English is not my first language so I probably did not word it as well as I wanted to.

I just seriously think it's a disservice to the game's story and cutscene direction to have you manually make the dialogue go forward instead of letting you sit back and just take it all in. Square Enix are so famous for their linear games and cinematics-boners anyway so why did they decide to give us control over something that can potentially be seen as tedious? I mean, these introductory cutscenes with narration at the beginning of ARR/HW have "normal" subtitles - what makes those scenes so much different than the ones were characters are having a conversation? An OPTION to have the textboxes go by on their own (with a paus button in case of sudden AFK) would be a great feature to an already great game in my opinion.
