I'm not even to Heavensward content, and I'm well past the point of being able to keep track. I haven't been able to bring myself to roll a roulette recently out of fear that I'll royally screw up because I forgot everything.
I'm not a HW yet either, and I also hardly do roulette. Whether I've run a dungeon only once or multiple times, what helps me enter the queue is knowing that I have been through it before, and will pick up things along the way. It's casual, and most people go into DF not expecting optimal play. They expect you to try, and not deliberately screw up, but never remember every single dungeon you've ran. Also, casual dungeons are a lot of rinse and repeat. For a few of them, the final boss is often a combination of mechanics thrown at you from previous encounters.

On a last note, it is perfectly ok to tell your group at the beginning that you haven't been in that particular instance for a while, don't remember it, or have only done it once or twice. Just because the message doesn't show up that someone is new to the instance, doesn't mean everyone is familiar with it. Most groups will charge into a fight assuming everyone does unless someone speaks up.
