How do you remember every instance?

Hello! I've started running into some issues with memory capacity regarding Dungeons, Raids, Trials, etc. How on earth do some people manage to remember all of them?

I'm not even to Heavensward content, and I'm well past the point of being able to keep track. I haven't been able to bring myself to roll a roulette recently out of fear that I'll royally screw up because I forgot everything.

Well I don't try to remember it. It just comes to me when I do the content again. Just muscle memory for me. You will develop it when you did the same piece of content quite a bit. Just keep doing roulettes and eventually you will get to the point of remembering it easily no need to fear it.

It's one of those "The knowledge lays dormant" type situations. If a fight comes that I don't remember off hand, a round or 2 is enough to rejig my memory.

and creating a personal list of rules:
- kill adds the moment the tank don't pull more
- if in a Coerthas instance, kill the one add who start a transformation cast
- open the eyes for mechanic hinds in boss fights
- dodge AoEs

Just do your best and try not to worry about it. The more you run them the better you'll remember.

Because at this point most people have been in game long enought to have run each and every dungen/trial/raid multiple times. Roulettes and things like relics force us into old content over and over again. Of course at some point you'll remember it.
But don't be afraid to run dungeons, just cause you feel you don't remember it. Mechanics are mostly easily figured out on the fly in normal dungeon runs and even if you screw them up, they most likely won't wipe the party. Also, as long as people see you're trying and giving your best, they will not give you a hard time over not dealing with something correctly. Sure, it does happen you run into such players, but luckily I feel the community isn't that bad and such encounters are rare.
Anyway, keep running your roulettes, you too will remember the fights after having seen them a couple times, if you're really feeling insecure don't be shy, tell the other party members you've only been in there once, have forgotten about the boss and ask them to explain it to you.

You will run them a few times but the important thing I feel is - don't push yourself to try to remeber everything. It's pointless.

Running it multiple times and noticing patterns.
Stack aoes pretty much always have the same aoe maker.
Multiple marks go out basically means spread out
Are you marked and tether to the boss? Run away
Giant dark looking eye or anything move with the words "Gaze" or "Stare" equals look away.
Stuff like that.

Also knowing the themes of each fights helps. Like realizing Ramuh ex has water so you know that at some point that will become conduit of electricity.
Then you can use word puns on moves like Lunar Dynamo from T9 and saying Lunar Donut.

Markers are your friend, there's really just a handful of mechanics that don't have one and even those are easily avoided if you're looking at your screen at all.
If you're new to something, just ask the party before engaging. 99% of the time they'll quickly tell you what to do.

I don't try to remember everything, but do them enough times and you'll remember bosses as they come up...
