Well, i wonder what some people see....
To me those things are obvious:
- Exact same battle-pose before the fight starts (#1m08s), which is pretty similar (but different) to standard monk weapon drawn stance.
- The male does a forward leap punch.
The female blocks, does a move which is pretty similar to part of monk's /bstance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xswDRz2DHPQ) and then counter's with the exact same move.- another set of mirrored moves (#1m40s)
- no actual "fluid" attacks, but things like a devastating "knee strike" and then (again) a mirrored kick.
- Both have a chakra aura, both finish with a full-charged leap to each other (again, mirrored).
- She uses a weapon. But Raubahn (Gladiator) uses two swords. Papalymo wears plate gauntlets. Ida and Papalymo combine their powers for a final flare attack.
Those things define npc characters. And Monks use bladed weapons attached to their hands, too, anyway. To have a weapon model with just one hand bladed isn't impossible at all.
Besides, so far monks has been described as the non-plus-ultra regarding hand-2-hand combat. Even to the point they almost got wiped out by the Garleans.
So unlessthere is no dancer in this teaser. If they tell us they go back to double-job classes then I will reconsider this.
- there a third faction in Ala Mi'gho rivaling the 2 known monk factions regarging hand-2-hand combat
- dancer is as much focussed on all-out-attacks as monk (not more evasive or distractive)
- dancers most used attacks have nothing to do with actually dancing
- dancer is another job of pugilist, which also utilizes chakra (which would be kinda lame) ... (and only working if new jobs get actually a base class).
But then we have seen nothing which is worth considering as an dancer "job ability". Just /dance isn't one.
But so far... nope, that's a monk, who moves like a monk and punches/kicks like a monk, uses chakra like a monk and danced for unknown reasons about 10s.
Maybe to hint dancer as a possible new class in 4.x, but sure not to make her a dancer.
