the producer, Yoshida said in the key note, "the warrior of light is a monk, as monk is the job for 4.0 how drg was for 3.0 and as for the girl? You'll have to wait and see" lol so no one knows , they want us to speculate, etc

As a martial artist I'm pleasantly surprised they chose Chinese movements to represent monk. They have in the past don't get me wrong but it was much more visual in the trailer. Loved it.

As for the dancer debate...

I want dancer. I do. I just dont want that monk rip off class if thats now dancer ... which it's not...it's monk.

Ok yes Monk moves, but even if just a trailer why would the female bother with dance like moves before the fight?

Anyhow people could speculate, name call, quote each other whatever, none of us no 100% what the jobs will, except highly likely Red Mage of course (Yoshi P Tshirt)

Also i would like to think that they would tease us with multiple jobs (if they are coming) before actually revealing at the other fanfests

Posts like this annoy me because you're spreading misinformation.

First OFF: Yoshi said in the key note during the comparison picture of the two with red and blue aura. He points to the Warrior of Light and says, "This WoL is a MNK. MNK is the main theme because he used to be a DRG now he is a MNK."

So for all of you that are saying there is a confirmation that he is saying both are MNKS. Prove it - because he does not give any indication whatsoever.

Now for reasons I THINK it MIGHT be DNCER.

Her moveset is very fluid.
She jumps him from the beginning. (He was focusing, friendly spar.)
She uses what looks to be a very VISIBLE jig after he knocks her back. (she dances in place.)
She LOOKS to be using Florish indicated by the slashing effects.
Her concept art shows her with a small dagger.
As a LONG time DNC main in FFXI it just looks like A DNC to me.


Also during the Ranger event - I heard that Yoshi said that those might represent upcoming classes.
The Yellow Rangers POSE is FFXI Dancer's Pose.




I'm not confirming it is. I could be wrong, and being bias. But don't shut peoples speculations down and spread false information.
