Check out KA Applegate's Wikipedia page at some point. All of her books are listed. She wrote a lot more than I knew about. I am not sure what you mean by "Ghostwritten". I am just not familiar with the term. Does that mean someone else wrote them and she put her name on them?

Yes, someone else wrote them and put her name on it. However, I misspoke. She wrote more than 7 but she wrote less than half of the overall series including spinoffs. See the wiki page's list of books:
