Fan Fest 2016 Community signiture book aka New Best Friends Club

For Fan fest this year I wanted to push myself to connect with as many people as possible. I didn't talk to a lot of new people in 2014 and it bothered me as I felt I wasted one of the best aspects of Fan Fest. So I recalled I still had the journal that came with collector's edition of XIV 1.0 and I decided finally put it to good use. I brought it to fan fest and approached people (usually thanking them by saying they joined the new best friends club) asking them to write in it, no limits they could write draw say whatever they wanted.

Part ice breaker part extension of the server signature wall, I spent 15 hours Saturday just talking to and connecting with as many people as possible. It was an amazing experience and means the world that everyone there took the time to talk with me and sign the book. The book didn't just bring me closer to others but others together as well. People around each other they werent talking to one another before, friends enjoying readings or one upping others comments everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

To all my new best friends thank you and I look forward to doing it all again next Fan Fest.

When you handed it to my group to sign it didn't even occur to me that it was the exact same book that I have sitting in a box at home. Might have to steal your idea for next time.
