And money they do have.... wait why are you even concerned with that, do you have SE stocks or what?
Those funds can be spent somewhere more meaningful, like oh I don't know, on actual content?

So quests should remain unchanged as they are meaningless in your opinion and the only good part is the boring story telling i can guarantee you that 80% of people skip? and you i say i try to ruin this game for "us" as you say by giving suggestions on how to improve a game based on improvement that have been tried by other games and have been very welcomed by critics and players alike?
I never implied that Quests should be meaningless and unchanged, because even I find the quests to be dull. But making choices isn't going to make the quest any more engaging. I'm sorry that a game that actually makes you read is "boring", but plenty of people find that the history of a game's setting to be interesting. I guess you need more black and white decision-making for that, though. I'm all for new approach on quests, but again, not something like GO TO THIS PREDETERMINED LOCATION AND DO X, OR DO Y. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE BUT YOU GET A CHOICE. I'd rather explore the new world that's going to come along with 2.0. Solve puzzles, fight iconic monsters, etc. Implementing minigames in quests (the motorcycle chase in FFVII, hot and cold in FFIX, blitzball in X). That would be fun and engaging. Quests that are exclusive to card players, whenever Yoshi-P adds that new card game in. Tournament quests. Chocobo digging, I could go on. Whether or not you were thinking the same thing is beyond me, because what you were describing was just some generic quest-line that other MMOs all have.
