I've been watching and found it funny vharming in its rawness. 30£ for several hours of entertainment is worth it. I pay more for 2hrs for a shitty film at the cinemas.

...and the two days worth of events, merchandise, other interviews and panels, and two concerts? If anyone was expecting anything beyond the teaser and one new job-tease for the keynote, then I think they were setting themselves up to be disappointed.

This guy gets it. Its like people who complain about glam items being "walled" behind rl items and such. If you paid money to go Vegas just to see a keynote about a videogame and feel jipped, that's on you. Get out and do things. Go to the other FFXIV stuff, go gamble, see a show, DO STUFF UNRELATED TO A VIDEOGAME! TRY THIS THING CALLED REAL LIFE!

Seriously enjoy your time there, take it all in, not just a single event and call it a failure. Again if you went to one of the most fun cities in the world and think you didn't get your money's worth, then you need to look at your life.

Then I wouldn't reccomend going to the cinemas in Aus.

Tickets + drink + popcorn would cost me easily around the $40aus mark in Sydney. More if I wanted better seating.

Could you tell me more about this? Cause in US we just buy a ticket and pick which ever seat we want that available. As for my earlier post I was just comparing price of a ticket only (no concessions) to the price of the stream.
