What they said is... they would PREFER that everyone upgraded to 64-bit OSes, but that they will continue to support 32-bit OSes for now. 32-bit isn't done, but the min spec is going up, so it's an improvement.

PS3 was so terrible they couldn't add new inventory space, and the console couldn't even support a seperate UI for mouse and keyboard while having the ability to connect both.
Thing is/was trash.
As a ps3 player it's a bit sad to see people really happy that other people might no longer be able to play. But i do understand that there were restriction caused by keeping the support so i won't say i don't understand partially, just remember that this might hurt more people then help . Luckily got a ps4 for my birthday so hope I'll be able to switch soon especially if we're getting a free upgrade.

AAR launched almost 6 months before the release of the PS4, which was supply constraint till March 2014.
Now we're 3 years into PS4's lifespan, and thing is basically in the power range of a decent 2013 laptop, AKA it's also weak as shit, but there is always an upcoming PS4 Pro for performance gains over the OG model if you console game.
